I never mentioned, but I was acclaimed as the Academic Affairs Chair of the student council at my school. It means that I am the liaison between the students and the faculty, and am responsible for academic concerns.
However, I only mention it because I wanted everyone to take a look at the FISSC website, which in my opinion is the best student council website I have ever seen. It was designed last year by our incoming President Christina Hwang.
Mr Chabot, I feel that subject/object is great example of treating others better than they want to be treated. The old rule: do unto others as you would have them do unto you, is wrong. No one wants to be treated like I wanted to be treated; they wanted to be treated better. Which is to say, they want to be cared for, respected, and acknowledged as they see the world. They do not want me to foist my interpretation upon them. They want to be treated, as they want to be treated.
I feel that subject/object displays a great personal touch in the sometimes cold online world and the distant world of academia. I can only hope to find more blogs that speak so highly of students which remember to treat them better than most universities do.

Also, your blog is very cool; I admire the technically proficient way it is administered and the asthetic balance you have achieved.
Cordially,
Lee
Thank you for your compliments. I guess I don’t do what you attribute to me consciously, and I could be said to be too critical of people sometimes. Mostly I didn’t understand that link in the context you used it.
