		<description>&lt;p&gt;I'd suggest not doing a ph.d. until that point in time in your future that it becomes necessary to pursue what you want to do.   Reading and writing in a thoughtful manner, a skill you've already mastered, does not require the additional certification, nor does a fulfilling worklife.  Plus having the practical experience of a few years on the job is always a plus in a ph.d.&lt;/p&gt;
