		<description>&lt;p&gt;An interesting post, and a book I should read--but you do know the universal answer to such commentaries, don't you? Not phrased this way, to be sure, but the answer frequently boils down to one of two things:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;p&gt;"This time for sure."&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;p&gt;"But this one's really, really different. Really."&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ol&gt;

&lt;p&gt;That's helped by the way the press and public handle Gurus such as the three you cited (I could add a few others). They are always right, no matter what their track record might be.&lt;/p&gt;
